Our growing home care agency for Seniors is seeking a versatile, technology-savvy Recruiting & HR Specialist to help us attract great caregivers and support our team.
This is a hands-on role in a small business environment where approximately 60% of your time will focus on recruiting and 40% on HR, onboarding, compliance, and employee development.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has successful recruiting experience in healthcare, home care, healthcare staffing, or other high-volume/blue-collar workforces
- Is an excellent writer, communicator, trainer, and presenter
- Has strong technology skills and quickly learns new software, systems, and AI tools
- Enjoys solving problems and figuring things out independently
- Is flexible, adaptable, and willing to pitch in wherever needed
- Wants to grow their skills beyond recruiting and HR into areas such as operations, payroll, finance, or client services
- Is familiar with AHCA ASPEN regulations and requirements
What You'll Do
- Recruit, source, screen, and hire caregivers and Home Health Aides
- Build relationships with healthcare schools, training programs, and community organizations
- Manage the onboarding process, orientation programs, and digital hiring paperwork
- Supervise one remote recruiter
- Manage our eLearning platform, retention programs, and employee recognition initiatives
- Administer benefits and assist with vendor management
- Support performance management, employee coaching, and annual reviews
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, wage and hour laws, and other employment regulations
- Learn and apply Florida Department of Health regulations, including the industry ASPEN standards governing home care agencies
