Entry-Level Radon Mitigation Technician

Radon Pros is seeking a motivated, dependable individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Radon Mitigation Technician. No prior radon experience is required—we provide hands-on training and opportunities for advancement within a growing company that has served the Omaha metro area for over 20 years.

Position Overview
As a Radon Mitigation Technician, you will assist with and eventually perform the installation of radon reduction systems in residential and commercial buildings. You will work independently and alongside experienced technicians while receiving training in radon mitigation techniques, customer service, and industry standards.
Responsibilities
· Assist with the installation of radon mitigation systems in homes and commercial buildings
· Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment safely
· Drill, cut, and install PVC piping according to company standards
· Install radon mitigation fans and electrical components (training provided)
· Seal foundation openings and system penetrations
· Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
· Maintain company vehicles, tools, and job site cleanliness
· Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers
· Document completed work and take job-site photos
· Follow safety procedures and company policies
· Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
· Assist with radon testing and related services as needed
Qualifications
Required:
· Valid driver's license with clean driving record
· Ability to pass a background check
· Reliable transportation to and from work
· Ability to lift 75 pounds regularly
· Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and basements
· Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred (Not Required):
· Construction experience
· HVAC experience
· Plumbing experience
· Electrical experience
· Home improvement or remodeling experience
· Experience using power tools
Compensation & Advancement
Starting Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour
Pay is based on experience, work ethic, mechanical ability, and overall fit for the position.
· Entry-Level Technician: $20–$25/hr
· Radon Mitigation Technician: $25–$30/hr
· Lead Technician / Crew Leader: $30–$35+/hr
· Additional earning opportunities may be available through overtime and performance incentives.
