Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver, where you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight across long distances. Whether you hold a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) or are pursuing your non-CDL driving credentials, this role offers weekly pay and the opportunity to operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks. Duties
- Safely operate a range of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks across diverse routes.
- Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries.
- Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance needs to ensure optimal truck performance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and logistics teams to coordinate pickups and deliveries across multiple locations.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL or non-CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record; previous commercial truck driving experience preferred.
- Proficiency in manual transmission operation and experience with various truck types such as flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, and dump trucks.
- Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient deliveries.
- Ability to handle freight safely using manual handling techniques; experience with forklift or roll-off trucks is a plus.
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, hazardous materials handling, and dangerous goods transportation.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform routine vehicle inspections; must meet physical requirements for long-haul driving.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $8,000.00 per hour
