Middlesex Tree is a growing, professional tree care company serving the Connecticut shoreline. We’re looking for a skilled Tree Climber to join our crew—someone who takes pride in their work, values safety, and enjoys working outside every day.
What You’ll Do
- Perform tree climbing, pruning, and removals safely and efficiently
- Assist crew leaders with all aspects of tree care and rigging operations
- Operate and maintain equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
- Identify hazards, assess tree condition, and follow proper arboricultural practices
- Work as part of a team to complete residential and commercial jobs
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of tree climbing or bucket experience preferred
- Ability to climb using ropes, saddle, and/or spikes (with the ability to also climb without spikes)
- Strong understanding of rigging, knots, and safe work practices
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and at heights

Schedule
Monday–Friday. Possibility for overtime and an occasional Saturday.
