Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Parti-Time CDL Class A Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, primarily performing drop-and-hook deliveries. Your day-to-day work involves operating tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers with precision and professionalism. You will conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance, maintain accurate logs of driving hours and cargo, and communicate effectively with dispatchers about delivery schedules or any issues. Your focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service will help us deliver freight efficiently while upholding high standards of professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Semi Truck (Tandem Axle Day Cab and/or Sleeper) on designated routes.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate hours-of-service (HOS) logs, documenting routes traveled, cargo details, and driving hours.
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation.
Communicate clearly with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or issues encountered.
Keep trucks clean and well-maintained to meet company standards.
Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with proven experience as a truck driver.
Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws.
Excellent navigation skills using maps or GPS systems.
Attention to detail in vehicle inspections, logs, and delivery documentation.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
