Responsibilities
- Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing candidates through internal intake processes and online databases.
- Coordinate employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated smoothly into the organization.
- Manage administration tasks, including employee payroll, benefit time accrual and other employee benefits.
- Contribute to HR projects related to change management, organization design, succession planning, and affirmative action planning to align workforce strategies with business goals.
- Handle confidential personnel information with integrity while maintaining compliance with employment law and HR legal standards.
- Support the Human Resources department aiding with entry, data collection, and Excel data analysis to ensure accurate reporting and workforce insights.
Experience
- Proven experience in an HR department role or similar capacity involving human capital management and personnel administration.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance, and regulatory requirements affecting the workplace.
- Familiarity with HR platforms for recruitment, payroll processing, and personnel data management.
- Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution, employee relations, and communication skills essential for effective employee engagement.
- Experience in training & development programs, performance management cycles, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools—especially Excel—for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and experience handling OSHA-related compliance issues is preferred.
