Join Our Team in Roswell – Youth Development Professional
The Boys & Girls Club in Roswell is looking for a dedicated Youth Development Professional (YDP) to help create a positive and engaging experience for the youth we serve. This role works directly with kids each day, helping guide activities, support learning, and provide a safe place where young people can grow and succeed.
As a Youth Development Professional, you’ll help lead a variety of programs including STEM activities, art projects, literacy development, physical activities, E-sports, homework assistance, and more. If you enjoy working with youth and want to make a lasting impact in their lives, this is a great opportunity to do just that.
Position Details
- Pay: $15.75 per hour
- Schedule: 35 hours per week
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and interact with youth in daily activities that support their social, emotional, and physical development.
- Assist in planning and leading educational and recreational programs that keep kids engaged and learning.
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment while following all safety policies and procedures.
- Use positive behavior management and classroom techniques to encourage participation and respect.
- Provide help with homework, tutoring, and guidance when youth need additional support.
- Work closely with supervisors to support each child’s growth and address individual needs.
- Help keep program spaces clean, organized, and ready for daily activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with youth in settings such as childcare, camps, or education is helpful but not required.
- Skills in teaching, tutoring, or classroom management are a plus.
- Understanding of child development or early childhood education is beneficial.
- Must be at least 21 years old to transport youth from school.
- Valid driver’s license required for transportation duties.
- Background check required for employment.
