Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, kitchen stations, and service areas to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with bussing tables promptly to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests
- Support food service operations by delivering orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly customer interactions
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant or catering service during busy periods
- Communicate effectively with guests to address needs, answer questions, and enhance their overall experience
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep or cleaning tasks as needed to maintain operational flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper hygiene practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with serving, bussing, or supporting kitchen operations is advantageous
- A friendly attitude combined with excellent teamwork skills to foster a welcoming atmosphere
- Previous hotel or food industry experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
