Avir at Paluxy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) to join our in-house rehab team in Granbury, Texas. We are dedicated to providing person-centered care that helps residents improve independence, function, and quality of life.

Position Summary
Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the OTA will provide skilled occupational therapy services to residents with short-term and long-term rehabilitation needs. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, compassionate, and committed to high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy treatments according to physician orders and care plans
Assist residents with mobility, strength, balance, and daily living skills
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and safety
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members
Participate in care planning and rehab meetings as needed
Deliver treatments safely, effectively, and compassionately
Qualifications
Active Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
Graduate of an accredited OTA program
Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively with residents of varying needs
