AV TECHNICIAN
ENTRY LEVEL–TO–EXPERIENCED
Pay: $15.00 – $30.00 per hour

Job Description
Audiovisual technicians are the foundation of our production team. In this role, you'll work hands-on with professional audio, video, lighting, staging, and LED wall systems used at live events throughout South Florida. You'll help bring events to life while gaining valuable experience with industry-standard equipment and production workflows.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy technology, problem-solving, and working in dynamic environments where every event presents new challenges.

Job Requirements
- Install, configure, and dismantle audio visual, lighting, staging, LED wall, and event production equipment
- Load, unload, organize, and transport equipment safely to and from event venues
- Operate and monitor equipment during live productions while serving as an on-site AV point of contact when assigned
- Work closely with Supervisors and fellow technicians to execute productions efficiently and professionally
- Assist clients with basic technical questions and event-related AV needs
- Follow company procedures, safety standards, and event documentation
- Maintain equipment quality, cleanliness, and proper handling practices
- Secure equipment properly in company vehicles during transportation
- Drive company vehicles to event sites when assigned
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a calm and professional manner
- Represent Miami Sound Rental with professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude at all times
- Contribute to a team culture focused on excellence, accountability, continuous learning, and customer satisfaction
Job Qualifications
- Must speak English fluently
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have a Driver’s License
- Must live in South Florida & able to make commute
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be professional
- Must be punctual
- Must operate with a high level of integrity
- Must be honest and trustworthy
- Must have initiative
- Must be a quick learner and open to change
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Must be able to physically lift a minimum of 85 lbs
- Should be comfortable with technology and learning to use the internal interface
- Audio Visual Experience is ideal
