Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Labeler to join our manufacturing team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately applying labels to products, packaging materials, and containers to ensure proper identification and compliance with quality standards. Duties
- Operate industrial labeling machines and hand tools to affix labels accurately on various products and packaging materials
- Ensure labels are applied straight, legible, and adhere securely according to specified guidelines
- Inspect finished products for correct labeling, placement, and quality compliance
- Assist with packaging processes by preparing materials and organizing products for shipment or storage
- Follow safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues related to labeling equipment or packaging lines using basic mechanical knowledge
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote a safe and efficient environment
Experience
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced production setting
- Familiarity with industrial equipment operation, troubleshooting, and hand tools is advantageous
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting components accurately
- Experience with forklift operation, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including GMP and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and quality control procedures
- Strong work ethic with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
