What is Hot Pot? Hot pot is an Asian cooking method, prepared with a simmering pot of soup stock at the dining table, containing a variety of East Asian foods and ingredients.
Korean barbecue known locally as (고기구이) gogi-gui, “Meat Roast”, refers to the Korean cuisine method of grilling meat such as beef, chicken or pork, that you prepare yourself at your table. Our menu offers an extensive selection of fresh quality meats, seafood, noodles, and vegetables for Hot Pot and BBQ experience.
OVERVIEW
A restaurant host seats guests, takes to-go orders, answers questions about the menu, takes payment, and helps with customer service and cleaning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide patrons with accurate wait times
- Seat guests, provide them with menus and take drink orders
- Answer guest questions
- Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks
- Observe tables and take note of occupied, dirty or clean tables
- Clean and organize the front-of-house
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience with a restaurant group is a plus!
- Minimum - No prior restaurant experience is necessary
- Preferred - 1+ years prior restaurant experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
