We are seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering automotive parts to various locations while ensuring timely and safe transportation. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of equipment.
Duties
- Safely drive company vehicles to deliver parts to customers and vendors.
- Load and unload parts using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route details and any discrepancies.
- Conduct routine inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff regarding inventory levels and delivery schedules.
- Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Familiarity with route driving and warehouse operations is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual labor tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
