Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cleaning Manager to lead one of our custodial teams and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across our facilities. In this role, you will oversee driving the crew to each destination, daily cleaning operations, communicate with clients and implement efficient cleaning procedures. Duties
- Supervise and drive the cleaning staff to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of all areas
- Make sure each clean us up to quality standards to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Train new team members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, manual handling procedures, and PPE use
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to support ongoing operations
- Lead by example in heavy lifting tasks, manual handling, and safe work practices to promote a culture of safety
- Address any cleaning issues promptly, resolve staff concerns, and foster a positive team environment
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles with supervisory responsibilities as a Cleaning Manager or similar position
- Strong knowledge cleaning is preferred but can and will be taught
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to develop efficient routes, stay on top of time management, and manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills to train staff, conduct inspections, and coordinate with other departments
- Ability to lead a team with enthusiasm, motivate staff members, and uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Physical stamina for manual tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking, and a fast paced environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
