Lead Line Cooks
La Plage | Westport, CT
Greenwich Hospitality Group is seeking experienced Lead Line Cooks to oversee and execute food preparation and service at La Plage. This role works closely with the Executive Chef to maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and kitchen operations.
The Ideal Candidate
- Understands seasonality and is passionate about working with locally sourced ingredients
- Is skilled in scratch cooking using fresh produce and high-quality proteins
- Has experience in high-volume, à la carte restaurant kitchens
- Maintains exceptional standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and detail-oriented
- Is a positive team player with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Demonstrates a commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and professional kitchen practices
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of culinary experience in a lively à la carte restaurant
- Leadership or supervisory kitchen experience preferred
- Luxury hotel or upscale dining experience is a plus
