Commitment:
Teachers may choose to work 1-3 program weeks based on availability. To ensure consistency for our students, applicants must be available to work the entire Wednesday–Tuesday schedule for any week(s) they commit to.
Lunch is provided each teaching day.
Teach, Inspire, and Bring English to Life
Spend your summer helping international students build confidence in English while experiencing American culture. As an ESL Teacher with Experience USA, you'll create engaging lessons, encourage meaningful conversation, and play an important role in providing students with an unforgettable educational experience.

What You'll Do
- Deliver Engaging Lessons
- Plan and teach communicative ESL lessons for international students ages 12–18.
- Foster speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through interactive activities.
- Create a positive and encouraging classroom environment.
Support Student Success
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage participation and build student confidence.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and centre staff.
Maintain a Safe Learning Environment
- Follow Experience USA safeguarding and student welfare policies.
- Maintain accurate attendance records.
- Promote a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming classroom.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, state teaching certification, or equivalent required.
- ESL teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and dependable.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
