Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced BOBST 106 Die-Cutter Operator to run high-speed diecutting equipment in a folding carton manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for producing clean, accurate diecut work while maintaining efficiency, minimizing waste, and keeping machines running.
The right candidate understands that throughput, quality, and uptime are equally important—and knows how to balance all three.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate BOBST 106 die-cutting machines (Autoplaten or similar)
- Read and interpret job tickets, layouts, and dielines
- Perform complete make-readies including:
- Die installation and alignment
- Stripping and blanking setup
- Feeder and delivery adjustments
- Ensure proper sheet registration and cutting accuracy
- Monitor run quality and make adjustments to maintain specs
- Remove waste and keep pallets clean and organized during runs
- Troubleshoot mechanical and quality issues quickly to minimize downtime
- Work closely with press and gluing departments to ensure downstream success
- Maintain production speed while meeting quality standards
- Complete required production and quality documentation
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience running BOBST die-cutters (106 preferred)
- Strong understanding of folding carton materials (SBS, C1S, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand dielines and job specs
- Experience with stripping and blanking operations
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs)
