Your Role:
As a Roll Handler, you'll be at the heart of our production process, utilizing cutting-edge technology to create products that make a difference.
Overview: As a Roll Hauler/Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of large rolls of material within a warehouse or production facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of materials and ensuring that production processes are not interrupted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Handling:
- Safely transport rolls of materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, roll haulers, or other industrial vehicles.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks, storage areas, and production lines.
- Inventory Management:
- Keep accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
- Equipment Operation:
- Operate machinery and equipment used for moving rolls of materials, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with production teams to ensure materials are delivered promptly and production schedules are maintained.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors regarding material needs and any issues encountered.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy rolls of materials.
- Capable of standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Certification in operating forklifts or other industrial vehicles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Work Environment:
- This position involves working in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures is common.
