Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer focused Hybrid In Store Associate & Delivery driver to support daily retail operations while providing safe and efficient deliveries. This position combines customer service, merchandising, inventory support, and delivery responsibilities to ensure an exceptional experience for our customers both in the store and at their homes. Deliveries will be made with company Vehicle provided.
Driving Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals and pickups
- Assist with loading and unloading merchandise, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging professionally with clients, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer experience and sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate delivery records, route logs, and inventory documentation
- Organize merchandise on delivery vehicles for optimal space utilization and easy access during deliveries
In Store Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist customers in a freindly proffesional matter
- Provideproduct recomendations and answer questions regarding pet supplies
- Operate the Point-Of-Sale system
- Stock shelves and maintain sales floor
- Receive, Unpack, and organize incoming shipments
- Assist with Inventory counts and stock management
- Support opening and closing procedures
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and safety procedures
- Basic math skills for handling pricing, invoices, and transactions
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
- Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently throughout the day
- Military experience is considered an asset due to discipline and logistical expertise
