Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. Duties
- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of production processes to meet output targets while maintaining high quality standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols in line with industry standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety regulations.
- Monitor manufacturing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Lead, motivate, and train production staff to ensure they operate safely and effectively, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to uphold product integrity and regulatory standards.
- Oversee equipment maintenance schedules, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Manage heavy lifting operations safely by training staff on proper techniques and using appropriate lifting equipment when necessary.
Skills
- Requires 3- 5 years of diverse experience in a lumber/plywood manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a collaborative, solution focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
- High School level or above.
- Intermediate / advanced computer skills (Office package).
- Bilingual preferable (English/Spanish).
- Knowledge of supervision and leadership main principles, planning and scheduling of work assignments, handling of personnel problems, is essential.
- Demonstrated experience working on a wood machinery environment.
- Demonstrated management of key performance indicators and driving daily results.
- Knowledge in ERP software management.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
