We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic environmental services team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, waxers, and carpet cleaners to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals safely for tasks like floor scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and refinishing to preserve flooring quality.
- Conduct detailed floor care procedures including polishing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing floors to enhance appearance and durability.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks involving cleaning supplies or equipment while adhering to manual handling safety protocols.
- Clean carpets using specialized equipment to remove stains and dirt, ensuring a fresh environment.
- Follow environmental services best practices by using eco-friendly cleaning agents and disposing of waste responsibly.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or environmental services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet cleaners is advantageous.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including waxing, refinishing, and buffing will help you excel in this role.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely with proper understanding of chemical agent handling procedures.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts.
- Strong customer service skills are essential for maintaining positive interactions with clients and team members.
