American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (HVTI) position requiring at least 18 months of Step-Down experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Hospital Step-Down (HVTI) unit setting
-
Potential to float to other units within the same hospital to care for the same patient population
-
Day/night rotating shifts: 7:00am–7:30pm and 7:00pm–7:30am (3x12-hour shifts)

Shift rotation may be required based on operational needs

Active OH RN license or compact state RN license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Step-Down (travel experience also accepted)

Minimum 18 months of recent Step-Down experience required

PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required

Two professional references required for consideration

Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; an acceptable passing score on both is required

Holiday coverage required — must work at least every other holiday

Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location; a minimum 6-month break is required before starting a new assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
