Position Overview
La Suerte is seeking a dynamic General Manager who thrives in a vibrant, high-energy environment. This role is central to driving business growth, elevating the guest experience, and leading a team toward excellence.
The ideal candidate will oversee all operational aspects of the venue — staff recruitment and development, inventory management, event planning, quality and safety standards, and financial oversight — while shaping the atmosphere that makes La Suerte a memorable destination for patrons.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations: supplier negotiations, inventory management, financial planning, and goal setting.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring La Suerte is fully staffed during peak times.
- Build and maintain staff schedules, resolving conflicts efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards; conduct regular staff evaluations and coaching.
- Foster a positive environment for a diverse team, managing customer and staff interactions to keep things running smoothly.
- Plan and lead promotional activities to grow visibility and patronage.
- Handle difficult situations with patrons or staff decisively, keeping the venue safe and enjoyable.
- Champion a fun, secure setting for both patrons and employees.

Requirements
- High school diploma required; higher education or coursework in business management preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in the restaurant, bar, or entertainment venue industry.
- Solid grasp of business and financial principles.
- Strong computer literacy, problem-solving skills, and customer service orientation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to manage diverse personalities.
- Available to work peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proven ability to delegate and use resources efficiently.
- Bilingual: Spanish and English proficiency required.
