Copper Tip Energy Services is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic with Hydrorig injector experience to join our maintenance team in Williston, North Dakota. This role is ideal for a technician with strong diesel and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, particularly in Hydrorig injector systems and electrical used on Hydrorigs and rig‑site equipment. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, rebuilds, and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment and hydraulic injection components.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Heavy‑Duty diesel equipment, including engines, transmissions, drivelines, and electrical systems
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and rebuild Hydrorig injector systems, including pumps, valves, servo controls, and high‑pressure hydraulic components
- Perform maintenance on hydraulic power units, motors, and control systems
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, service manuals, and technical diagrams
- Complete preventative maintenance schedules and equipment inspections
- Document repairs, parts usage, and service reports accurately
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Support field operations as needed (optional: on‑call or travel requirements)
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic, Diesel Technician, or Industrial Mechanic
- Hands‑on experience with Hydrorig injectors- 6100, 6120 and 6140
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic theory, troubleshooting, and component rebuilds
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools
- Proficiency with hand tools, torque tools, pressure gauges, and hydraulic test equipment
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is an asset
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work in field or shop environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in oilfield, N2 services and Coil Tubing Components
- Certification as a Heavy Equipment Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or equivalent
