As a Shift Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading the crew, maintaining quality standards, and creating an upbeat, welcoming restaurant environment.
Lead and supervise a team of 3–10 crew members during shifts
Prep and cook food according to Tonyburgers quality standards
Ensure food quality, speed, cleanliness, and consistency at all times
Follow Tonyburgers best practices for operations and food safety
Answer customer questions and resolve concerns professionally
Communicate shift updates and issues with the General Manager
Oversee cleaning tasks throughout the restaurant
Maintain clean lobby, restrooms, kitchen, and work areas
Create a positive, motivated, and team-focused work environment
Support teammates and lead by example
Maintain reliability, consistency, and a cheerful attitude every shift
At least 1 year of experience working and leading a team in a quick-service or restaurant environment
Ability to lead and motivate a team of 3–10 people
Strong communication skills with management and team members
Ability to multitask quickly while maintaining high standards
Passion for guest service and building emotional connections with customers
Willingness to honor and promote Tonyburgers’ vision and values
Ability to communicate effectively in English or Spanish
At least 16 years of age
Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate to heavy objects when needed
Prior restaurant leadership experience is preferred but not required — we provide paid training to set you up for success.
