Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) – School-Based
Eufaula or McAlester, Oklahoma
RehabVisions is hiring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) for full-time openings supporting school districts in the Eufaula and McAlester areas.
These positions are primarily school-based and offer the opportunity to help students improve the skills they need to participate more fully in the classroom and school environment. Depending on the position and caseload, limited virtual-school or home health coverage may also be available.
New graduates are encouraged to apply. School-based experience is preferred but not required.

About the Position
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with RehabVisions, you will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help students develop functional skills that support their academic participation, independence and overall success.
Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans established by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Provide individualized and small-group therapy services based on student needs
- Support students in developing fine-motor, sensory-processing, self-care and functional participation skills
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families and members of the student’s educational team
- Participate in meetings and contribute information related to student progress when appropriate
- Maintain compliance with professional, organizational and school-district requirements
- Assist with program development and the general operation of therapy services
- Provide limited virtual-school or home health coverage when assigned to the applicable position
Qualifications
Required
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators and clinical team members
- Strong communication, organization and documentation skills
Preferred
- Previous pediatric or school-based therapy experience
- Familiarity with individualized education programs and school-based documentation
New graduates who are eligible for Oklahoma licensure are encouraged to apply.
