Summary
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our compassionate team in North Texas. In this pivotal role, you will support our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care while embodying our commitment to excellence and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Administer medications as directed by physicians
- Chronic Care Management calls to patients
- Ensure compliance with medical protocols and safety standards
- Maintain organized and efficient electronic health records (EHR)
- Provide exceptional patient service and support throughout their visit
- Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care experiences.
- Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant
- MUST BE ABLE TO DRAW BLOOD
- MUST BE ABLE TO GIVE INJECTIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is required
- Proficiency in medical administrative support and EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic life support techniques
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service
- Ability to take vital signs and perform basic clinical tasks
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with ICD coding is a plus.
