Duties
- Read and interpret detailed construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications for pool installations and related outdoor features
- Prepare sites by grading, excavating, and setting up necessary safety barriers for efficient installation processes
- Install pool shells, plumbing systems, electrical components, and finishing touches such as tile laying, plastering, caulking, and stucco work
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to excavate trenches, move materials, and perform precise installations
- Install additional features like hardscape elements, glass panels, doors, flooring, trim carpentry, window installation, and other building material components
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project specifications throughout each phase of construction
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety compliance
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on outdoor work environments; prior experience in pool or remodeling projects is highly desirable
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various installation tasks
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans specific to pool installation and building projects
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, caulking, stucco application, tile laying, plastering, and other building material installation techniques
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators or loaders when required for site preparation
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites; committed to maintaining a safe working environment at all times
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs
- Outdoor work experience with the physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
