Spectrum Homes a New Home and Remodeling Company with over 37 years serving our Customers in the Greater Lehigh Valley is seeking a carpenter to work in both our New Construction and Remodeling Division. Our candidate needs a working knowledge in trim carpentry with experience in new construction and remodeling. General maintenance and labor will also be associated with this position.

Detailed Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified Carpenter to cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications. Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products. A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting buildings and products.

Responsibilities
- Trim & Moldings: Measure, cut, and install crown molding, baseboards, door casings, window trim, and chair rails with seamless miter joints.
- Cabinetry & Built-ins: Install prefabricated cabinetry, vanities and shelving units ensuring everything is perfectly level, plumb and secure.
- Doors & Hardware: Hang interior and exterior doors, install frames and finish hardware including locks, knobs and hinges.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and accurately interpret blueprings and shop drawings.
- Safety and Maintenennce: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all power and hand tools are operated safely and kept in good condition
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Experiance: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experiance in finish carpentry
- Techinical Skills: mastery of woodworking tools. ( power saws, routers, table saws and miter saws)
- Attributes: Eye for details and math skills
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders and work in tight spaces
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent, completion of a carpenty apprenticeship or trade school is a major plus.
- Logistics: Valid drivers license in good standind with not violations in the past 3 years is required.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
