The IT Implementation Engineer for WMS/FMS/OMS is a critical role within our 3PL organization, responsible for implementing, integrating, and maintaining enterprise solutions such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation/Freight Management Systems (TMS/FMS), and Order Management Systems (OMS). By working closely with cross-functional teams—including Operations, IT, Engineering, Customer Success, and external customers—the role drives the successful adoption of technology solutions that enable efficient warehouse, transportation, and order fulfillment operations. This position is pivotal in aligning technology with business processes, ensuring seamless operations and providing a scalable foundation for growth. Through its focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, this role underpins the organization’s ability to deliver innovative and competitive logistics solutions to our clients.

1. Lead end-to-end implementation projects for WMS, TMS/FMS, and OMS systems, starting from requirements gathering, through design, configuration, testing, and production go-live.

2. Configure workflows, define system business rules, and optimize operational processes to ensure the integrity and efficiency of system outputs.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide seamless customer onboarding, tailored system setups for new warehouse startups, and transportation project implementations.

4. Develop, validate, and maintain system integrations, including ERP, EDI, API, customer systems, and carrier platform connections, ensuring real-time data accuracy and connectivity.

5. Conduct thorough system testing, oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validate data integrity to deliver high-performing, error-free solutions into production.

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in implementing and supporting WMS, TMS/FMS, and OMS software within a 3PL, supply chain, or logistics environment.

3. Proficiency with system integrations, including experience with API design, EDI processes, database management, and strong hands-on skills in enterprise software configuration and troubleshooting.

1. Experience with major WMS platforms such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or SAP EWM, as well as TMS/FMS/OMS solutions like MercuryGate, JDA, or HighJump.

2. Familiarity with automation technologies, AI tools, and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) to drive operational efficiencies.

3. Strong understanding of supply chain workflows, including inventory management, transportation planning, and order lifecycle processes, with relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) being a plus.
