JOB FUNCTION:
Supports the mission of CAPLP by ensuring smooth daily operations of REACH Reusables, a thrift store that provides affordable shopping for the public and vouchers for clients in need. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment for customers and donors while maintaining store standards. This position requires working a flexible schedule that regularly includes evening and weekend hours.
STORE HOURS:
Monday-Friday: 10am to 6pm
Saturday: 10am to 2pm
POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
Full time - 40 hours/week
Part time - 20 hours/week
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
- Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance
Preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Lived experience or a history working with individuals with low incomes

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Program Activities:
a) Implement procedures for store operations including opening, and closing the store; procedures for accepting, sorting, pricing donations, etc.
b) Proper handling of cash, sales, gift cards, and other relevant responsibilities as needed
c) Processing of donated items, including the rotation of items, inventory monitoring, deliveries/pick up coordination, and the disposal of donated items in a timely fashion
d) Assist in daily processes of sorting, tagging, and displaying while providing guidance to volunteers
e) Maintain neat and clean store presentation
f) Work cooperatively with staff and volunteers to achieve store goals
Agency and Division Support
a) Represent Agency in communities we serve
b) Align and build on efforts to achieve a shared vision and common goals in serving people
c) Assist with Agency projects as requested
d) Attend and participate in agency, community and state meetings as requested
e) Participate in agency provided trainings and seek out additional training to enhance professional development
f) Assist with onboarding and training of Agency team members as requested
g) Compile and submit required documentation
h) Availability to work designated Agency hours for your Division and position
