Fabrication Operator I
Focus: Execution under guidance, Support, and learning
· Operates automated and semi-automated equipment, including laser cutting centers, robotic bend cells, press brakes, and forming equipment under established procedures
· Loads programs and basic tooling as instructed
· Produces parts that meet dimensional specifications with supervision
· Uses computer systems to clock into jobs, view setup specs, and reference documentation
· Performs basic inspection of finished products and reports quality issues
· Follows standard work instructions, workflow processes, and safety guidelines
· Adheres to ISO and QMS requirements
· Maintains a strong focus on safety and proper operating procedures
· Performs other duties as assigned
Fabrication Operator II
Focus: Ownership of processes and independent problem-solving
· Independently operates automated and semi-automated equipment, including laser cutting centers, robotic bend cells, press brakes, and forming equipment under established procedures
· Sets up tooling, loads programs, and adjusts machine parameters for optimal performance
· Consistently produces quality parts that meet specifications
· Uses computer systems for job tracking, setup verification, and documentation
· Inspects finished products, identifies quality issues, and escalates problems appropriately
· Follows and reinforces standard work, ISO, and QMS processes
· Contributes ideas for continuous improvement of workflow and processes
· Maintains a strong focus on safety and proper operating procedures
· Performs other duties as assigned
Fabrication Operator III
Focus: Strategy, creation, leadership, and complex problem-solving
· Operates and optimizes automated, semi-automated, and manual equipment across multiple cells or lines
· Performs complex setups, parameter optimization, and program suggestions or adjustments
· Ensures consistent production of high-quality parts meeting all dimensional and quality requirements
· Troubleshoots equipment, process, and quality issues and escalating as needed
· Performs advanced manual welding for complex fit-up and rework
· Acts as a resource to Level 1 and Level 2 operators through training and guidance
· Actively leads continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
· Ensures strict adherence to safety, ISO, and QMS standards
· Supports production needs and performs additional duties as required
· Monitors equipment performance and collaborates with maintenance and manufacturing engineering regularly to ensure adequate up time and reliability
· Performs other duties as assigned
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements
· High school diploma or GED required
· Ability to operate automated equipment
· Knowledge and experience with HMI controls
· Knowledge and experience with press brake operation and tooling
· Solid background and understanding of bending and metal fabrication
· Ability to read fabrication drawings
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
