We are a locally owned, husband and wife operated pediatric dental office located in Mueller seeking a full-time dental assistant. We are looking for someone passionate about working with children and providing exceptional care.
Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
- Under direct and indirect supervision, the dental assistant will assist in both administrative and clinical duties including but not limited to:
- prepare patient for procedure or exam
- sterilize and disinfect instruments / set up trays
- take radiographs as needed / coronal polish / oral hygiene instructions
- assist during dental procedures
- entering chart notes
Qualifications:
- Must enjoy working with infants, children, teens, and children with special needs
- One year minimum dental assisting experience
- Active Texas RDA license and CPR
- Nitrous oxide certification
- Coronal Polishing/ Sealant experience
- Familiar with Open Dental or other dental software
Our hours are M-Th 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am-1pm. Located in East Austin near the Mueller area. We offer competitive pay based on experience, holidays, and PTO.
