Job Description
Pureline is seeking a reliable, professional, and compassionate (PRN) Phlebotomist to join our growing team. This position offers flexible, as-needed work performing both in-office and mobile specimen collections.
The ideal candidate is experienced with venipuncture, has excellent patient care skills, and is comfortable traveling to patient locations for mobile appointments.
Pay
- $25 per in-office blood draw
- $40 per mobile blood draw
- Mileage reimbursement: 50% of the Massachusetts standard mileage rate for the round-trip distance traveled to and from each mobile appointment.
Responsibilities
- Perform safe and accurate venipuncture and specimen collection.
- Verify patient identity and follow proper specimen labeling procedures.
- Maintain professionalism and provide exceptional patient care.
- Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and safety guidelines.
- Complete required documentation accurately.
- Transport specimens according to established procedures when required.
- Maintain supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Certification.
- CPR Certification
- Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Excellent venipuncture skills.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Auto insurance.
- Ability to travel throughout Worcester County and surrounding areas.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
