What You'll Do
As General Manager, you'll oversee all day-to-day operations while ensuring every guest and team member has an exceptional experience.
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new team members.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Shift Leads, Trainers, and Baristas.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and hold team members accountable to company expectations and KPIs.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and high-performing work environment.
- Build weekly schedules that maximize labor efficiency while maintaining excellent service.
- Lead by example during peak business hours.
Operations
- Ensure smooth daily operations during all shifts.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory, place vendor orders, and manage product availability.
- Reduce waste through proper inventory management and forecasting.
- Ensure recipes, drink quality, and presentation remain consistent.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement long-term solutions.
Guest Experience
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business.
- Monitor customer feedback and continuously improve the guest experience.
Financial Performance
- Manage labor costs, food costs, and operating expenses.
- Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities for growth.
- Help execute promotions, community partnerships, and local marketing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate cash handling and daily financial procedures.
Brand Standards
- Ensure all team members follow Boba Bliss recipes, service standards, and operational procedures.
- Maintain compliance with health department regulations and company policies.
- Uphold brand standards in-store and across any employee-created social media content.
What We're Looking For: (Required)
- 2+ years of restaurant, café, or beverage management experience.
- 2+ year of experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with coaching, accountability, and performance management.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Preferred
- Experience in specialty beverage, café, quick-service restaurant (QSR), or boba operations.
- Experience with scheduling and labor management.
- Familiarity with Square POS or similar restaurant management systems.
- Inventory ordering and cost control experience.
- Food Handler and Food Manager certifications (or willingness to obtain).
