Join our dedicated mental health treatment providers at Willow Tree Therapy Services as a Play Therapist, where your passion for supporting children's emotional and developmental well-being will make a meaningful difference. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages children to express themselves through play, fostering healing and growth. Your expertise with children 3-12, will be vital in helping children, and their families, work through challenges related to psychopathology as well as other environmental, developmental, and neurological conditions. Duties
- Conduct a combination of individual and family focused treatment sessions ongoinly tailored to the unique needs of the patient using child-centered approaches.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment.
- Provide quality outpatient therapy within a private practice setting to maintain and facilitate voluntary treatment needs of the patient and their families.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective case management strategies.
- Implement direct, non-direct, and integrative trauma informed play therapies.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children with childhood psychopathologies.
- Strong knowledge of the children's system of care helpful.
- Familiarity with medical documentation, medical terminology, and maintaining confidential medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Skilled in data collection methods to monitor progress and adapt treatment plans effectively.
- Ability to perform patient care tasks including ongoing assessment and diagnostic knowledge with sensitivity and professionalism.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
