Prep Kitchen Assistant – Local Artisan Food Production (Part-Time)

What began as one woman’s family recipe—made famous in a mountain-town restaurant’s Bloody Mary, has grown into a beloved local brand found on store shelves across Colorado. We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to join our production kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, prep, and chop a variety of fresh vegetables
- Assist in all stages of production, including pickling, packing, and labeling
- Follow recipes and food safety procedures with accuracy and consistency
- Maintain production logs and prep schedules accordingly
- Help keep a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Follow all rules and regulations regarding food safety per Boulder County Health Department.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently on repetitive tasks
- Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous kitchen, food production, or prep experience is a plus—but not required
- Must be available Tuesday and Thursdays between hours of 9am – 4pm.
Physical Demands
· Able to stand for 4–6 hours per shift
· Regularly lift and carry 20–40 lbs (e.g., cases of jars or bins of produce)
· Repetitive tasks involving chopping, lifting, and moving containers
· Tolerant of cool or warm kitchen environments, depending on season
· Comfortable working in close quarters with others in a collaborative space
