An electric utility client is looking for a Senior Project Manager who will Leads the development and management of integrated schedules supporting client’s General Rate Case (GRC) asset management programs
Position: Senior Project Manager
Location: Pomona, CA - Hybrid Onsite W & Th
Pay Rate: $83.20/hr. on W2
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 1st shift, M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the development and management of integrated schedules supporting client’s General Rate Case (GRC) asset management programs.
- Coordinates activities across Regulatory Affairs, Risk Modeling, Finance, Strategy, and program teams to track milestones, monitor status, drive accountability, and facilitate stakeholder alignment.
- Proactively identifies and resolves issues, removes barriers, and ensures timely execution of deliverables to support regulatory filings, investment planning, and strategic objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Demonstrated project management skills, including schedule development and maintenance, milestone tracking, status reporting, issue and risk management, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, drive accountability, and support cross-functional teams in achieving critical deliverables and deadlines.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 5
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience within the electric utility industry, particularly supporting asset management, capital planning, or regulatory programs. Demonstrated success project managing complex, cross-functional initiatives, including the development and delivery of strategic investment plans, regulatory filings (e.g., GRC, RAMP, WMP), or other executive- and regulator-facing documentation. Ability to navigate diverse stakeholder perspectives and build alignment across regulatory, finance, risk, strategy, and operational organizations.
- Bachelors and PMP certification desired if possible.
