We provide in-home and school-based therapy for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, sensory integration dysfunction, language processing deficits, and other behavioral challenges.
We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide consultative services to children, adolescents, and their families in both the school districts and home settings. About the role:
As a Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will connect with children and their families to equip them with practical skills for handling daily activities and social situations through the design and implementation of customized behavior intervention plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to inform the design and development of client interventions, programs, and techniques.
- Provide hands-on training on current Applied Behavior Analysis practices both in the field and in the office for Behavior Intervention (BI)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) staff.
- Supervise and evaluate field staff.
- Train field staff on behavior strategies and offer ongoing, continuous support.
What we’re looking for:
- Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology (with an ABA focus), or a related field.
- Certification: Current BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification.
- License: New Jersey LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst) license is a strong plus.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience working with children with special needs, conducting FBAs, writing behavior support plans, and developing/monitoring individual educational and behavioral programs.
- Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of best-practice strategies and interventions for children on the autism spectrum.
- Systems Knowledge: Experience with Rethink EMR is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills; ability to work effectively and compassionately with diverse populations; highly self-motivated and capable of working independently.
