Provide awesome customer service

Greet and welcome members and guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner.

Answer phone calls and in-person inquiries and/or address complaints.

Operations
-
Manage the front desk, including point-of-sale transactions, and inventory with direction from management
-
Process membership registrations, court reservations, cancellations/refunds, and facility rentals.

Monitor and assist open play groups
-
Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.

Promote other services of the club, such as coaching, pro shop merchandise, and special events.

Work special and private events as needed, helping with vendor/catering setup and teardown.

Ability to sell merchandise, including paddles, lessons, and memberships.

Organization and Cleanliness
-
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

Clean all surfaces, tables, bathrooms, and courts
-
Process deliveries and manage the distribution of messages.

Restock merchandise and supplies.

Safety
-
Ensure visitors’ adherence to all facility policies and procedures.
-
Ensure liability waivers are completed by all visitors before entering the facility.

Write incident reports for accidents and injuries and communicate them to the appropriate personnel.

Fun
-
Sub-in for pickleball when there are not enough people at the facility.

Oversee open play and coordinate level play.

Come up with creative ideas to make Pickleland even better.

Delight our customers – Go the extra mile to make someone’s birthday that much more special, make someone feel extra welcome.

Help develop Pickleland’s online and social media presence.

Must love pickleball

High school diploma or equivalent.

Can you put yourself in the shoes of an avid pickleballer who plays daily and also in the shoes of someone who is playing for the first time?

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Dependable and reliable.

Great at remembering names and faces

Successful completion of a background check may be required

[Bonus] Familiarity with court scheduling software (such as PlaybyPoint, CourtReserve, PodPlay, etc)

[Bonus] TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) certification

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Bending, stooping, lifting, and pulling occasionally.

Capacity to work for extended periods in a noisy environment.

Available to work variable shifts

Full-time is 35-40 hours a week

Part-time is 15-20 hours a week
