NAE Cleaning Solutions is a locally owned commercial cleaning company serving businesses throughout the Austin area. We are looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to support our operations team, cleaning staff, client accounts, inspections, supplies, and daily field needs.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in janitorial services, facilities, hospitality, property management, restaurants, or other service-based operations who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and keeping things organized.
About the Role
The Assistant Operations Manager will help support our cleaners and supervisors in the field while helping ensure our clients receive consistent, high-quality service. This role is designed to support the Operations Manager and help reduce day-to-day operational pressure as the company continues to grow.
This is a hands-on field leadership position. The right person will be comfortable visiting multiple client locations, checking quality, communicating with team members, helping solve service issues, and making sure our staff has what they need to be successful.
Responsibilities
- Visit client sites to perform quality checks and inspections
- Support cleaners and supervisors in the field
- Help coordinate coverage when there are callouts or schedule changes
- Assist with new account start-ups and employee training
- Check supplies and communicate restocking needs
- Follow up on client requests and service issues
- Use checklists, photos, and notes to document completed work
- Help ensure teams are following scope, schedules, and company standards
- Communicate clearly with the Operations Manager and leadership team
- Assist with special projects, floor work coordination, and other operational needs as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in janitorial, facilities, hospitality, property management, restaurants, or service operations
- Strong communication and follow-through
- Comfortable visiting multiple locations throughout the Austin area
- Able to lead people respectfully while holding standards
- Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure
- Comfortable using a phone app for checklists, photos, and updates
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred
- Prior cleaning or facilities experience is a plus, but we are open to training the right person with strong leadership and service experience
Compensation
- Base salary: $45,000 per year.
- $300/month gas allowance
- Texas toll reimbursement, estimated around $50/month
- $75/month phone allowance
- Performance bonus potential
