Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances and mechanical equipment following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
- Conduct repairs on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical components to minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and inspection reports to track equipment status and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site maintenance tasks or equipment transport as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to identify potential issues proactively and implement effective solutions quickly.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical wiring for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices across various mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients during service interactions.
- Ability to operate HVAC & appliance technology tools efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and guide less experienced technicians when necessary.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in diverse environments.
