About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of CostManagement to lead and develop a team of Cost Managers and oversee delivery ofcost management services across multidisciplined real estate solutions within adedicated sector. This individual willbe responsible for ensuring service excellence in terms of service delivery,continued growth of our cost management service offering and client engagement.
This role combines strategic oversight, technicalexpertise, and strong client engagement to ensure projects are delivered ontime, within budget, and to quality standards. The successful candidate will bea driven leader with great interpersonal skills.
What You’ll Do:Key Responsibilities:
- Strong leadershipskills, experience leading a cost management team, ensuring they deliver on allaccountabilities.
- Lead communicationswith the client and oversight of cost management team services.
- Lead research relatedto construction market conditions, including analysis of official publisheddata.
- Produce thoughtleadership reports providing valuable insights to the construction market
- Lead the strategic andoperational management of Cost Management Services in a variety of sectors,including resource planning and management, financial management, businessgeneration and training and development.
- Set a clear strategyand ambition with the team in line with our Business Plan
- Grow and developexceptional people, promoting a culture of learning, respect andinclusivity.
- Knowledge management –Ensure that key information and learning generated from each commission isinputted into internal databases and shared.
- Process improvement –Identify and act upon ways to improve internal systems and processes.
- Quality Control –Ensure compliance with quality standards and participation in ISO audits.
- Develop priority plansincluding risk mitigation through internal tools, make performance measurementsvia Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and appraisal documents, managementcontrols and critical success factors based on company goals
- Undertake internal BMSaudits, and coordinate and represent the office for external audits undertakenby the external certification authority.
- Develop a detailedunderstanding of the market, acting as a brand ambassador and creating apipeline of opportunity with existing and new clients
- Identify and act uponcross-selling opportunities.
- Participate in meetingswith Senior leadership, Directors and staff and prepare and deliverpresentations
- Financial Management –Using internal software, track ongoing revenue, margin levels and monthly feesand resource requirements for each cost commission.
- Preparation ofproposals/RFP responses for new clients/projects.
- Attend relevantnetworking events and other promotional opportunities with directors.
- Support the trainingand mentorship of current staff and promote an upward career trajectory.
- Proactively partnerwith talent acquisition team to attract the best talent, actively manageresource requirements and proactively plan for future staffing needs.
- Be a role model thatdrives a one business culture that achieves great outcomes by striking theright balance for our people, clients, stakeholders, and society.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree inconstruction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering orfield related to construction.
- Graduate degree inquantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering ispreferred.
- 12+ years of relevantcost management or quantity surveying experience.
- 2+ years managing highperforming cost management teams in a consulting environment.
- Prior people managementexperience.
- Proven track record ofmanaging successful cost management service delivery for clients.
- Exceptional Businessdevelopment acumen and ambition to drive business growth.
- Major constructionsector experience working with high caliber clients in commercial real estate,data center, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, natural resources,etc.
- Demonstrates excellentpresentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $170,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $210,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
