We are hiring 2 individuals for this position. Hours of opportunity 7:00am - 10:00am. This is a retail store, so time management is of the upmost importance.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of machinery or large spaces as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold a professional appearance
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and reporting larger issues promptly
- Support custodial operations by organizing supplies, restocking consumables, and ensuring equipment is in good working order
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and industrial cleaning methods
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers and floor polishers effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work standards
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning schedules or special project requirements
