New Heights Alabama is hiring a full-time Junior Campaign Manager in Birmingham to help nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations expand their reach through community events, pop-up campaigns, and face-to-face outreach.
As a Junior Campaign Manager, you'll gain experience across the entire campaign process, from preparing event materials to engaging community members and reviewing results. Every Junior Campaign Manager receives hands-on coaching while developing practical skills in communication, fundraising, sales, event coordination, and campaign strategy.
Responsibilities of the Junior Campaign Manager
- Prepare campaign materials, outreach goals, and event displays before each community activation.
- Engage attendees in conversations that introduce nonprofit programs and create new sales and fundraising opportunities.
- Learn how to communicate different nonprofit initiatives while adapting your approach to each audience.
- Support event execution by keeping campaign materials organized and maintaining an engaging setup throughout the day.
- Help turn community interest into measurable sales and fundraising results through confident, personalized conversations.
- Record campaign activity and sales results to help identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Share observations from the field that can strengthen future messaging, event strategy, and sales performance.
- Learn how successful teams set goals, evaluate sales results, and adjust campaign strategies.
- Continue developing as a Junior Campaign Manager through coaching in fundraising, leadership, and professional sales techniques.
Qualifications of the Junior Campaign Manager
- Strong communicator who enjoys working with people and learning through hands-on experience.
- Interested in marketing, nonprofit outreach, fundraising, events, leadership, or sales.
- Customer service, hospitality, volunteer work, athletics, events, or sales experience is helpful but not required.
- Organized, adaptable, and comfortable taking initiative.
- Positive, dependable, and receptive to coaching and feedback.
- Comfortable working at outdoor pop-ups and community locations throughout the Birmingham area.
- Motivated to grow as a Junior Campaign Manager while developing practical campaign and leadership experience.
