Summary for Shop and Field Fabrication Technician
This position will be primarily work in our shop and warehousing and our worksites around the twin cities metro area, consisting of:
1. Assisting with our steel fabrications including cutting, welding, assembly, grinding, cleaning parts, and other steel fabrication work.
2. Loading and unloading trucks and trailers in our shop and in the field.
3. Assisting with our inventory in our shop and warehouse.
4. Assisting with receiving more inventory, when needed.
5. Assisting with ordering and receiving materials, when needed.
6. Assisting with organizing and keeping our buildings and grounds organized and clean.
7. Assisting with maintaining our equipment, including our forklifts, cranes, rigging, vehicles, tools, and consumables.
8. Assisting with maintaining our buildings and grounds, including grass, snow, furnaces, water, and electrical.
9. Preparing, palletizing, delivering, shipping, and installation of our products.
We expect to train you over a period of time prior to completing these tasks unaided.
This involves work at height and carrying equipment up and down mid- and high-rise buildings.
There will be opportunity for advancement (but not required) including class A driving licensure, cnc programing, autocad operation, and welding certificates.
Hours for this position are 6:30 to 3 pm, Monday to Friday in the shop and 7 am to 3 pm on site hours in the field.
There is opportunity for travel outside of Minnesota, but it is not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
