We’re looking for enthusiastic, motivated, outgoing, and ambitious individuals to us as a Marketing and Sales team member. This is a year-round, full-time paid position (40 hours/week) offering an exciting opportunity to work behind the scenes of one of the region’s most beloved events.
Responsibilities include:
- Making outbound sales and sponsorship calls developing partnership outreach to local businesses
- Conducting promotional and trade outreach to community organizations
- Representing our events at promotional appearances throughout the Kansas City area
- Helping execute live events
- Assisting patrons in planning and enhancing their event experience
- Assisting with social media content creation
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Organized and dependable
- Comfortable talking with people in person and over the phone
- Has experience in marketing, business, communications, event management, or sales
- Has own reliable personal transportation and is able to commute daily to our Bonner Springs office
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Comfortable using a computer
- Familiarity with CapCut, or other basic design/video tools is a plus
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM
- Evening and weekend hours required during events
Compensation: $15.00 per hour for first six months then raised to $17.00 per hour plus a sales incentive plan available
