We are currently interviewing Occupational Therapists (OTs) for an exciting school-based position in Manassas, VA. This role offers the opportunity to work with students of all grade levels in educational settings, providing therapy and support to help children achieve success in the classroom and beyond.
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
- Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in the state of VA (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery
- Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays
