Position Summary
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and indoor air quality systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues.
- Communicate findings and repair options clearly to customers.
- Complete service tickets, documentation, and inventory records accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Promote maintenance agreements and recommend system upgrades when appropriate.
QualificationsRequired
- 3+ years of HVAC service experience.
- EPA Section 608 Certification.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
