PROGRAM RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Supervise and focus on Men’s daily operations of the Life Recovery Programs.
-
Oversee the activities of the Coordinator and Advocates.
-
Oversee recreational activities and life skills learning opportunities.
-
Integrate the Genesis Process throughout all program stages, ensuring that all recovery staff show proficiency in utilization of the Genesis Tools.
-
Ensure effective communication is achieved between staff, volunteers, and residents.
-
Promptly address critical areas of concern.
-
Facilitate Genesis groups and facilitate classes as needed.
-
Ensure interdisciplinary communication needs are met to address the holistic needs of each resident.
-
Perform and compile quarterly Resident Satisfaction Surveys.
-
Respond appropriately to requests, reports, and concerns.
-
Assist Director with planning graduation events.
-
Respond personally to donors or friends of the Mission regarding any need for Mission services by their acquaintances and family members.
-
Stay up to date on current drug trends and ensure sufficient staff training.
-
Run Provider Summary weekly.
SCHEDULING
-
Prepare monthly staff work schedules.
-
Approve staff vacation requests and schedule appropriate coverage.
-
Prepare annual staff holiday work hours and plan holiday activities.
-
Work closely with Volunteer Supervisor in securing and scheduling volunteer assignments and reporting volunteer service hours.
-
Ensure staff timecards are complete and accurate.
SUPERVISION/MANAGEMENT
-
Assist Director in developing proposed yearly goals.
-
Assist in prospective staff interviews and make recommendations to the Director.
-
Meet regularly with staff, volunteers, and Director.
-
Schedule and conduct annual staff evaluations.
-
Collaboratively develop and monitor staff development goals.
-
Effectively manage staff performance.
-
Consult with staff regarding building needs or repairs and present issues to the Director.
-
Ensure high housekeeping and cleanliness standards are maintained.
-
Plan and implement monthly team meetings as well as all staff meetings.
D. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Carry out requests as assigned by Director.
-
Work positively and harmoniously with entire Mission ministry staff.
-
Take an active part ensuring the safety, health and well-being of all staff, volunteers, and residents.
-
Represent the Mission in development efforts as assigned.
-
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
PHYSICAL FACTORS

Ability to lift 30 pounds.

Occasional standing for long periods of time.

Moving throughout and outside the Mission facility as needed.

Sitting for extended periods of time.

Occasional reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping.

Occasional driving of Mission vehicles.
SPIRITUAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Take every opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others.

Provide spiritual encouragement to staff, volunteers, guests, and residents.
-
Invest in the spiritual development of staff, guests, residents, and donors.
-
Pray for and with staff, volunteers, guests, residents, and donors.
-
Ensure actions and policies reflect the Christian values and purpose of the Mission.
-
Handle relational conflicts according to the Staff Covenant of Romans 12:18 and Matthew 18:15-19
-
Memorize monthly Scripture, Mission Statement, and Mission Core Values.
-
Participate in corporate prayer and Scripture reading, staff chapel services, and all spiritual gatherings.
-
Support and attend annual mandatory Evangelism In Service training to grow in knowledge of leading others to faith in Christ.
-
Participate in annual spiritual growth training through organization selected curriculum.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
A two-year degree in a human service-related field or the equivalent work experience.
-
Knowledge or experience with the recovery process.
-
General computer literacy. Proficiency in MS Office preferred.
-
Three years of experience working with populations experiencing challenges such as homelessness, mental illness, domestic violence, and addiction.
-
Must demonstrate respect, compassion, and understanding toward those who are poor, lost, alienated from their families, traumatized, addicted, physically and mentally ill, homeless, and ex-offenders.

Must possess strong leadership qualities and demonstrated character traits of integrity, trustworthiness, responsibility, etc.
-
Ability to exhibit respect, gentleness, and accountability when interacting with residents.
-
Must be teachable and function as a team player.
-
Ability to engage in safe and healthy work practices, both on the premises and off-site facilities.
-
JO3 license required within 90 days of hire.
